Training Equipment

Our training room is equipped with a TV monitor and white boards. You are welcome to bring your own devices or equipment and we will help you connect them to our network. LCD Projectors, Projection screens, flip charts and stands are also available.

Food, Beverages, and Snacks

Catering events can be one of the most daunting and expensive aspects of a training or event. To help alleviate the headache, we invite you to bring food and beverages provided by an outside source into the training room.

The paradigm of Appreciative Inquiry informs my style of being and working. I believe that people develop when they focus on their strengths and what makes them most alive. I believe in peoples’ innate ability to be resourceful and creative and whole.

I am most alive when I am training and facilitating or coaching in a group. My qualification as a Transactional Analyst in the Educational field informs my style of facilitating and enabling learning. Transactional Analysis is a set of models useful for people to understand their personality as well as their communication styles.

My work for a non-governmental organisation, Wellness Foundation, includes coaching the Director as well as training Community Health Workers in both urban and rural areas across South Africa over the past 8 years. I now consult to Wellness Foundation as a trainer, mentor and supervisor of young women who have come from local communities, training them to do the wellness work in their own communities.

I bring to my coaching a thorough embodiment of the International Coach Federation’s core competencies and an Appreciative approach. I am constantly immersed in the competencies both in my own coaching practice and in training coaches in Ireland, London and South Africa, being the sole South African trainer in the international coaching company, Coaching Development.

I am trained as a coach supervisor which enables other coaches to reflect on their work and continue to develop professionally. I believe that supervision is crucial for coaches to continue to work ethically and keep on top of their game as they learn more about themselves and continue to develop and deepen their work.

My work with individuals is as a coach or as a supervisor. I provide a supportive as well as challenging space for people to discover their positive core and begin to live more and more from that space. My work with groups is enabling teams and groups to connect with each other, understand each others’ styles and move towards co-creating a desired future.

You may search by specialty area, location or by name (if you are looking for a specific person). Once you locate an Expert on Call, you may find out more about them by reviewing their portfolio and client feedback. If you want to know more or to obtain information about their availability and pricing, you may contact them directly. It is that easy to make your initial contact. Each Expert on Call is an independent contractor and will be responsibility for their contracting, project development and invoicing. We recognize the power of referrals and each assignment is important to us. Melissa Robaina, MBA is an Appreciative Inquiry Facilitator and Consultant for the Company of Experts. For the last few years, Melissa has worked for the Company as a content creator and has collaborated with numerous subject matter experts around the world researching, organizing, and writing material that nurtures discussion and is applicable to today’s rapidly changing environment. Melissa has an interest in adult learning theory and is passionate about coordinating, developing, and facilitating transformation solutions in all human systems. Melissa has also co-facilitated Company of Experts offerings related to Change, Paradigm Shifts and Online offerings.

Melissa is the co-author of two articles, “Creating a Legacy to Live Into: The Macon Miracle” and “The Macon Miracle: A Community [Re]Designing Education to Capture the Hearts and Minds of Students”; highlighting her Company’s work in Appreciative Inquiry and positive change facilitation.
