Tom Church, northern California, has dedicated over thirty years of service to the public and private sector with primary emphasis on the development and administration of programs and services that promote independence and self- reliance for people with physical or mental disabilities. From 1986 to present, he also has been a private vocational rehabilitation counselor and business consultant with numerous public and private organizations.
Tom served at a community college as the faculty coordinator in the department providing services to students with disabilities. Since 2002, he has taught social and behavioral sciences courses at California State University in Monterey Bay.
Tom successfully completed graduate level coursework with a
Master's Degree in Education from the University of Memphis. In 1999, he began a Human and Organizational Development Ph.D. program at the Fielding Graduate Institute; he expects to receive the master's degree soon. Upon completing the graduate coursework requirements, he will begin work on the dissertation in 2004.
Tom’s educational background, professional training, and experience have provided him with the skills and commitment to provide organizational development consulting. In addition to working with people with disabilities, he has provided services and instruction to a diverse population of clients and students representing a variety of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
