Rebecca Heckman offers over 11 years of professional experience in banking and finance with special training in marketing and business development, building and maintaining client relationships, employee training and presentations, and financial analysis. As an entrepreneur and former business owner, Rebecca understands how a business is built from the initial dream to the design for sustainability and growth. As a consultant, Rebecca uses her hands-on experience and Appreciative Inquiry training to facilitate and collaboratively bring to life goals, aspirations, and anticipated outcomes for organizations.
Following over 20 years in business in the private sector, Rebecca earned her M.B.A and was asked to stay at the college to teach classes in business writing and communication, business law, and entrepreneurship. In addition to her experience as a college professor, Rebecca was Director of the Adult Education program, with locations in five geographic areas. Through this experience, Rebecca learned the academic and administrative expectations, responsibilities, and duties of leaders in higher education.
Rebecca holds a Certificate in Appreciative Inquiry and uses the generative, strengths-based approach as a facilitator and consultant in working with the diverse needs of public, government, non-profit, education, and private organizations. Rebecca specializes in Leadership Development, Coaching, Team Development and Alignment, and other areas of organizational change.
Rebecca had additional professional experience in high tech at Oracle Corporation, commercial real estate for Prudential International, and Management Training at Wright Management Consultants.
She is a lively, passionate and fun presenter to groups of any size and can quickly bring people together in trust and alignment to an organization’s goals. As a consultant and presenter, Rebecca uses inquiry to learn and innovate, brings out the best in others, engages others in co-creation, and exemplifies relational integrity.
