Claudine Lowry is the Dean, Organizational Learning for a Community College in Nova Scotia and is responsible for the planning, design, delivery and evaluation of College organizational learning strategies and implementation. Previously, Claudine was Coordinator, Professional Development and she has over 15 years experience in the area of Human Resources Leadership.  In addition Claudine taught sociology for 16 years.  Claudine has been certified by the Company of Experts, Inc. as an Appreciative Inquiry Facilitator.

Ms. Lowry has presented over 150 seminars and workshops on topics such as: organizational change, employee relations, management development, team work, etc. to an extensive number of organizations, in both the profit and not for profit sector.  She has facilitated the Human Resource Module.  For the past 10 years she has designed and delivered the Human Resource module of the certificate program, Women in Management Development.

Claudine has made presentations at the Association of Canadian Community Colleges, Chair Academy International Conference, League of Innovations Conference, Prior Learning and Assessment Conference, National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development, International Conference of Facilities Managers in Higher Education, the Maritime Provinces Higher Education Council Conference and Canadian Association of Business Officers.

Claudine’s international facilitating and adult learning programming experience includes teaching and conduction needs assessments in Mexico, Uzbekistan, Malyasia and in 2010, China and Tanzania.

Ms. Lowry holds a Masters Degree in Sociology has successfully completed course work and exams for a PhD in Adult Education and is a graduate of the Labor Relations Program from Queen’s University. She has completed the Leadership Development Program through the Niagara Institute and has completed the Academy for Training and Leadership Program from the Chair Academy.
